Quick Start

The shortest path from download to your first AI-assisted interview answer.

1. Download and install from getdusky.app. On macOS, drag the app to Applications. On Windows, run the installer.

2. Grant Screen Recording and Microphone permissions when prompted. Setup asks for both at the same step and expects both — Screen Recording for invisible screen capture, Microphone for live transcription. On Windows these are system-level and Dusky does not show its own prompts.

3. Sign in with your email or Google account.

4. Press Cmd/Ctrl+H to screenshot an interview question.

5. Press Cmd/Ctrl+Enter to get an AI-generated solution.

6. Press Cmd/Ctrl+B to show or hide the Dusky overlay during screen share.

That is it — the overlay is excluded from screen capture and ready to help.

Two things to know before your first real interview

• The dashboard window (sign-in, Settings, billing) is a normal window and is not hidden from screen share unless audio capture is running. Close it before you share your screen.
• Invisibility is one operating-system flag, not a per-app guarantee. Run the two-device test on your own setup — see Stealth Mode.
